Greetings and welcome to the new site, we will be undergoing a short maintenance period to update various information about the farm, work on improving a community section, and provide more informative content with an overall polished appearance.

Wow...............we just returned from our second SWODGA Show and did we have a blast!! This was the very first show that the goats and I ever attended last year. Fastie went to show for the Champion Challenge but we placed second behind another champion buck. Our yearlings placed near the end of the line for the Senior yearling classes. This is a learning process for me and the goats and we are learning what it takes to be in the front of the line!! Our new little girls did very well, they all placed within the top 5 so we must be on the right track!! Thank you to the Gottfrieds for helping to handle unruly girls, Annie & Jeff, you guys are always great to us. I will try to up-date all of this more often.

Wow!! Can't believe that we are into December already!! It has been very busy here on the farm the last few months!! Lots of things have been happening.........goatie girls have been breeding, Thanksgiving, going to NAILE (North American International Livestock Expo), my Mom's Birthday, my birthday, ultrasound and AI (Artificial Insemination) clinic and next on the list of course is Christmas!! Whew!! Things really happen fast around here. I just did a craft show in Cleves for the village Christmas walk. I have been doing that for about 4 years now. We always have a really nice time doing it and will continue to do it as long as PNC Bank wants us too!!
I do still have one more doe to breed, and I have not seen any signs of heat on her........she is being a total holdout!! We will try to get her bred this month so that she will have kidded before our SWODGA show in May..........we are cutting it a little close. Wish us luck!!
